The hot plate surface shows the contours of heat flux with a rim driven fan extracting heat via convective heat transfer. This is a steady flow flow simulation without any outlets with a moving reference frame at 2500RPM. The red areas indicate high heat extraction by the blades. This enables a reduction in hot spots especially for electronic applications.
