Fluid structure interaction (FSI) modelling and analysis on Airbus A220
Fluid structure interaction (FSI) modelling and analysis on Airbus A220 by NING Research simulation engineers Edwin Tan and Yamamoto Kenji. CAD modeller Shaylesh Roy.
Computational fluid dynamics simulation was carried out to calculate pressure distribution on the aircraft body that was cruising at 800kmh.
The pressure data is then extracted and transferred to the finite element analysis model as loading condition on the aircraft body that resulted in wings flex (scaled) being observed from the analysis.
