CFD simulation of a large data hall

CFD simulation of a large data hall cooled by hot containment system.

In the month of November 2020, a group of NING Research Engineers came together to innovate new CAD and CFD techniques that could be used to swiftly and accurately model and simulate large data centers. The engineers selected a standard rectangular layout for the data hall and focused on maximizing the quantity of server racks and aisles.

The video shows the data hall that holds more than 300 server racks that collectively produces 2.4MW of heat cooled by hot containment system.
